Summer Stitches

A white lace sweater for a special baby....... one sleeve knit yesterday and will knit the other one today.  The pattern is Helena by Alison Green Will, featured in knitty Summer 2008. I love the raglan sleeve construction and the picot hem.

Stitching at the Market

I left the cottage this morning to go stitch with  a friend at the local Farmer's Market.

Plans

It's a gray rainy day.  I think I will spend it in the studio.  Read. Snack. Stitch. Peace and quiet.

Opening Day

Cottage Stitches opened today on Etsy.  I'm smiling. And I'm so glad it's summer.
